Lemonade Crusade ;)

So for the past week or two I have been working on a little something and yes was paid work! Though it wasn't used in the end due to a change of mind. But oh well on wards and upwards, I can use this for my portfolio!
This is the first sketch on the idea. The brief was to represent a glass of lemonade. And me being me made it into a chaos making lemons with jet packs on making lemon bubbles.

This was the unfinished first idea, as the client wanted to see it in a straight glass. Which we both thought didn't work as good as the diagonal glass. I preferred the layered colours in this piece but it wasn't right for a logo.

This is the finished product which I like and think it was a success. :)

Raccoon v's Unicornbirdbacon beast.

This illustration was a challenge set by a friend he thought up the concept and I drew it. :)
This one was inspired by another friend who is obsessed with raccoons, probably cos they are like him cute but dangerous and moody creatures! :P

Tattoos

I love Tattoos! I enjoy the way they look on skin, how they tell a story about the person. I especially love it when a good friend of mine wants me to design her one!! Hurray!

Sailor Jerry's tattoos are the classic of all tattoo design, I adore his use of swallows, pinup and skulls. Though personally I really love Victorian style tattoos as I designed my self a silhouette style of a little girl holding a butterfly and the rest are flying up my neck (symbolise maturity blossoming/ spreading my wings) . I am very much into expressing ourselves outwardly and creatively through dress and more permanent things like tattoos. I think tattoos are very personal and should mean something to someone, a lot of thought should go into such a precious symbol and if it wasn't for my health issues I would have way more tattoos! :D

Mexican style sugar skull artwork is so beautiful, I admire this kind of design and the history behind it is a great tale to tell.

Anyhoo this is my post today due to the fact I was trying to get more inspiration for a friends Tattoo design and I think it's given me inspiration now whoop! I will post soon promise!

Vector drawing :)

"Sugar is what stops me from taking over your planet.....
....also the reason why I can't leave."

This idea came from the fact I've been over doing it with sugar recently, might of trigger me to be ill. But at least this quirky monster has come from my sugar induced dreams.
Below is the original sketch of the alien, it's been changed quite a bit but I still like the outcome.

I still think I have a-lot to learn when it comes to Vector Drawing on illustrator. It should be fun :D .*

Sweaty doodling .. strange it works :P

Sitting in my living room and let's face it I was a little bored and I really wanted to be productive. So I thought about my day and what popped up was a conversation with Charlotte about my hamster being fat. And so I drew  a hamster being rather hammy and chunky, barely can move ... my hamster seems to have a bald bum.. weird huh?

The Belly Button Fluff creature....I know its icky but I've always wondered where that stuff came from and here it is for you. This is the creature who likes to leave fluff in your belly button at most annoying times! The smellier it is the longer the creature has been hanging around.. I think his name is Bernard.. because I like it it suits him!
